Your Sri Lanka 6 Days Sightseeing Tour begins as you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. A friendly representative from PL Sri Lanka Tours will greet you and assist you in boarding your car to Pinnawala. Along the way, we will stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a one-of-a-kind sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for abandoned and orphaned elephants.  

Founded in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation, Pinnawala is home to the world's largest herd of captive elephants. Visitors can watch elephants bathing in the river, their playful activities, and bottle feed baby elephants. The best time to visit is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., as this is when the elephants are fed and bathed. Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil environment of Pinnawala before checking in at your hotel. 

After breakfast, start your exciting day trip to Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, visit the iconic Muthumariamman Temple in Matale, a Hindu temple known for its intricate carvings and vibrant festivals.

Your next stop will be the Matale Spice Garden, where you can  discover the secrets of Sri Lankan aromatic spices, learn about their medicinal properties, and even shop for some local products. 

The highlight of the day is the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also called "Lion Rock." Rising 180 meters above the surrounding landscape, this ancient palace was built by King Kashyapa and features frescoes, gardens, and remnants of a grand lion-shaped entrance.  

Later, visit the Dambulla Golden Temple, an ancient cave complex and another UNESCO site. This temple boasts five magnificent caves adorned with murals and statues depicting Lord Buddha. After a day of exploration, return to Kandy for a restful evening. 

Begin your day with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) in Kandy, a revered Buddhist site that houses the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Stroll around Kandy Lake, a serene man-made lake with historical significance. 

Next, explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, known for its stunning collection of over 4,000 plant species, including orchids, spices, and giant bamboo trees. 

The journey to Nuwara Eliya, also known as "Little England," offers breathtaking views of tea plantations, misty hills, and cascading waterfalls. En route, stop at Ramboda Falls, one of Sri Lanka's tallest waterfalls, and visit the Damro Labookellie Tea Centre to learn about Sri Lanka's famous Ceylon tea.

Check into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya and spend the evening exploring this charming colonial-era town, complete with rose gardens, golf courses, and a pleasant climate.

After breakfast, take a scenic drive from Nuwara Eliya to Negombo, a coastal town known for its pristine beaches and vibrant fishing industry. Along the way, you’ll pass picturesque landscapes, rolling tea estates, and serene countryside. Take a stroll along the shore, explore the local seafood restaurants, or shop for souvenirs at the bustling markets.

 Spend the day at your leisure, indulging in some water sports, or exploring Negombo's cultural attractions. Visit the Dutch Fort, St. Mary’s Church, and the lively fish market if you’re in the mood for sightseeing.
